Allergies are frequently associated with asthma, but not everyone with asthma has allergies, and vice versa. Our goal is to improve the quality of our patients\u2019 lives, keeping patients off of oral steroids and out of the emergency room\/urgent care. We perform comprehensive asthma\u00a0evaluations for patients with allergic respiratory issues. This test looks for inflammation in the lungs which is often present in uncontrolled asthma.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li style=\"background: transparent; line-height: 1.5em;\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; background: transparent; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5em; color: rgb(var(--color_20));\"><span style=\"background: transparent;\"><span style=\"background: transparent; font-weight: bold;\">Innovative treatments<\/span>: for moderate\/severe asthma and\/or oral steroid-dependent asthma are a special area of interest in our practice; these\u00a0include Xolair, Nucala,\u00a0Fasenra, and Dupixent. These medications consist of injections that can\u00a0help get &#8211; and keep &#8211; asthma under control.
